The states with the most real estate searches in the last half of 2007 were: Massachusetts, Florida, Texas, New York, California, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Missouri, Minnesota, and Alabama. "Missouri and Alabama are surprises in the list this time," notes Coker. "When you understand the economic development going on around Mobile, the Alabama inclusion makes sense.
