Come and witness as 8 young women of virtue compete to be crowned at the 2009 Miss Oakwood University Annual Pageant.
The pageant has been designed to:
Develop leadership qualities.
Promote and reward involvement in school activities, volunteer work and community service.
Encourage personal growth and individual development that is cultivated by one’s preparation and participation in the pageant.
Improve ones interview skills and their ability to communicate effectively in front of people.
Reward scholastic achievement, healthy living, interview skills, poise, confidence and self esteem.
Encourage young ladies to develop life skills that will ultimately help them win in life by being their personal best in all they do.
