Jeff Benton Homes (JBH), Incorporated, announced the year-to-date results of the builder’s internal Quality Assurance Program. Constructing a home is a large task and Jeff Benton Homes is proud of the attention to detail that is made throughout the building process. Each stage of the building process is important, as mistakes made early in the construction process can be amplified in the final result.

Jeff Benton, president of Jeff Benton Homes says “To insure the highest level of quality, a Quality Assurance Inspector monitors the build throughout the construction process. Our Quality Assurance program not only tracks large issues, but also items as small as a scratch in the hardwood or a smudge on a wall.”

When the home is complete, the final quality check is made by the buyer. In this critical last step, the buyer “walks through” the house inspecting the details and noting any items that need attention. It is an important step not only for the satisfaction of the customer, but this vital measure is telling of the overall quality of the build and the commitment to detail throughout the process.

“We’re very pleased to report that of the 101 homes we’ve closed so far this year, 56 had fewer than five items needing correction,” said Jeff Benton. “Further, 32 of those homes were ‘zero walks’, meaning there were no items whatsoever needing attention.”

A plaque displayed in the JBH New Home Center lists the address of every “zero walk” home, along with the name of the builder and assistant builder who built it. The plaque reads, ‘”At Jeff Benton Homes, when you make a commitment to us, we make a commitment to you. We commit to delivering your new home 100% complete, on time, without sacrificing quality or integrity.”

Jeff continues, “The 32 homes we’ve added to that plaque this year demonstrate that the people of Jeff Benton Homes are truly committed to excellence.”
