An around-the-world wine journey is on tap for Sept. 12 at 801 Franklin as the Huntsville chapter of Executive Women International holds its annual fundraiser, “Swirls & Sips for Scholarships.”

For the event, which lasts from 6-9 p.m., The Wine Source will provide a selection of wines from California, Australia, France and Spain. Along with the assortment of wines, ticket holders will be treated to hors d’oeuvres, live entertainment and a silent auction.

“Swirls & Sips” is the premiere fundraiser for EWI, a group that brings together individuals from diverse businesses to promote member firms, enhance personal and professional development and encourage community involvement.

Proceeds from “Swirls & Sips” go to the EWI Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarship opportunities to high school juniors based on merit and also to adult students who wish to continue their education.
