Salsa Dancing in Huntsville

It is great to see how the SALSA SCENE in Huntsville is growing. Slow but steady. You folks are really making it happen!!! You are telling people about your experience and your excitement about SALSA is very contagious!!! I love it!!!!

The SALSA scene will get to where it needs to eventually unfortunately it will take some time. I will tell you that we are on the correct path!!!!

It is truly amazing that ONLY in Huntsville that the MEN have come out in force to learn how to dance SALSA. That is really great!!! This is the ONLY place I have taught that the ratio of men to women are either 50/50 or more men! AND the men are really turning into very good leads!! That is the goal - to turn men into good leads!!!! Believe it or not, this is a very good thing. There will be no shortage of men for the ladies to dance with. I take my hat off to the men!! Keep it up guys!!!

As we keep up all the things we are doing MORE good SALSA events will come. So don’t let up!! You love it, so SHARE IT!! All it take is ONE PERSON AT A TIME!!! So at the next event (FREE SALSA SOCIAL) bring ONE person!! That’s all. Bring ONE person and we will show that person how much fun SALSA truly is!!!
Take Advantage of Mr Salsa

This is going to be the first attempt to bring in a top notch SALSA instructor.Of course MR SALSAFIX and I are looking forward to you attending the workshops.

The workshops will be spread across several levels so we can accommodate all levels of dancers. We have more BEG/INT type dancers in Huntsville so we will have more of those workshops. Keep in mind that we plan on helping you improve your dancing skills and knowledge. So the levels will challenge you a little. Some moves will be very easy no matter what level but there will be moves included in the combination that will challenge you. This is what will make you a better dancer.

All the workshops will be fun and all levels of dancers are welcome to take all the workshops. There is always something you can learn no matter what level you are so we encourage even the very seasoned dancer to take advantage of MR SALSAFIX and take as many of his workshops as you can afford.

I have learned from many great dancers that the best moves are the simple moves that are executed well compaired to the fanciest moves that are done poorly. Please try to remember that.

We will spread the workshops over two days, 3 on Saturday (Oct 25) and 2 on Sunday (Oct 26). All the workshops will be held at BENCHWARMER TOO.

One of the highlights will be Saturday night. MAMBO GRIS GRIS SALSA/LATIN Band will be playing for you!!!! This is going to be great. You take the lessons that Saturday afternoon, go home and get some rest and eat THEN come out and practice those recently learned moves!!! Isn’t that great?!!!! MR SALSAFIX will be there too and you will have the chance to see him dance and for the ladies, a chance to dance with him!
