Huntsville WZYP Radio Raising Money for Children’s Hospital of Alabama
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAAY) - A local radio station is doing its part to help a good cause.
WZYP started its Children’s Miracle Network radiothon at Ashley Furniture on South Memorial Parkway Thursday. All the money raised will be going to help area kids at the Children’s Hospital of Alabama.
Children’s Hospital offers a range of services, including the state’s only pediatric burn center.
“We’re asking for donations for Children’s Hospital and every dime that we collect out here is going to go to children in the Tennessee Valley that use these services,”
Donations can be made by calling (256) 881-8115 or toll-free at 1-877-525-2943. The radiothon will be going on through Saturday.
