Concerts in the Park, the popular outdoor concert series presented by The Arts Council and City of Huntsville’s Department of Recreation Services, kicks off Monday at Ditto Landing on the Tennessee River. The first concert will feature the funk band Fearless4 and the Huntsville Concert Band. The concert starts at 6:30 p.m.

All concerts are on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. at Big Spring International Park (except when noted):

June 30: Maple Hill Band, Celtic; Big Daddy Kingfish, classic rock

July 7: Rocket City Chorus, a cappella chorus; Celebration Winds, rock

July 14: Anchor’s Eye, alternative rock; Band of Moose, jam band

July 21: Cristina Lynn & Chuck Rutenberg, country; Out n’ Runnin’, bluegrass

July 28: The Mike Cole Family Band, gospel; Wing and a Prayer, Christian

Aug. 4: Rob Aldridge, acoustic/blues; Rolling Jazz Revue, ragtime jazz

Aug. 11: The Purple Raven, classic rock; Toy Shop, pop, rock

Aug. 18: Olde Towne Brass, patriotic; Young at Heart, country

Aug. 25: Foreign Object Debris, rock; Time Machine, dance
